A number of you have been asking, unsurprisingly, about any Black Friday sale coming up.
We are taking a break from it this year for a number of reasons, some business, some political and some personal. I rarely get political here but I’m going to slightly. I’m not buying anything over Thanksgiving and on through the weekend. The big corporations are too damn greedy and entitled and it’s my way of joining with others to send a message. I deeply encourage you to give it some thought and do the same if it calls to you.
That goes to the heart of why we are not doing a sale. I don’t want to tempt you to buy online even if we are not a big corporation. The stores will be on, I welcome your support but I won’t lure you in with talks of deals. Just straight up transparency I’m known for. Please, go spend time with those that matter to you.
